    Note: All questions from the lifting section also apply since a building must be lifted prior to being moved. 

    Also keep in mind that buildings are generally not moved very far in the Northeast due to factors such as low overhead wire, extreme terrain, tree obstructions and strict road use regulations. Most structures are moved on the same property, across the road, through a field, or at the most a few blocks away.
